Sr. CQE, Operations - Taipei

Key responsibilities:

  • Candidate will be the focal point for customer return requests and customer communication for quality related issues arising at ODMs prior to escalation for FARs
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships, lead and ensure closure on customer issues (RMA’s)
  • Must have knowledge and on-hands demonstrated experience using standard lab equipment such as spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, power-meter, function generator, AWG, etc.
  • Must have a broad exposure to Systems HW, SW, product quality and reliability engineering teams to drive continual improvement efforts across customer production lines and OSAT suppliers
  • Analyzing test data and provide technical guidance to resolve any performance issues and improve customer’s factory DPPM rates and drive internal escalations for improvement
  • Provide customer quality engineering support for customer plant visits, audits & technical support at customers’ sites as necessary
  • Candidate must drive successful new product ramps to achieve corporate quality & reliability goals
  • Access and manage customer computer quality reporting systems
  • Working with Operations product engineering and customer quality teams to help ensure smooth passage of products through production and efficient resolution of any customer reported issues
  • Support Apps, FAE/AE and Sales in Asia with Quality, Operations and Logistics issues
  • Assist as a quality lead in development and implementation of corrective and preventive action plans to improve CAPA effectiveness and reduce recurrences
  • Troubleshooting and Failure Analysis of product yield/quality issue at wafer fab, IC assembly, IC test, and system-level testing at ODMs
  • Follow up with 8D process stake holders and closure of 8D
  • Monitor scorecard and or customer’s perception of our company’s quality performance. Identify and drive improvements for potential gaps
  • Travelling domestically and internationally for onsite customer support (~20%)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with Device Physics or Semiconductor Packaging background
  • 3-5+ years relevant experience in product and thermal design
  • Experience in consumer electronic designs
  • Working knowledge of general analysis tools related to heat transfer and thermal engineering including excellent knowledge of at least one thermal analysis SW (e.g. IcePak or FloTHERM)
  • Experience in high volume manufacturing and/or working with overseas manufacturers
  • Experience in managing outside resources including consultants, component suppliers, and high volume manufacturing partners.
