Director, Human Resources - StPetersburg

Quantenna takes a multidimensional approach, from silicon, system to software, to assess Wi-Fi networks and provides total solutions for service providers worldwide. This position is located at our St. Petersburg, Russia subsidiary. The position reports directly to HQ in Silicon Valley, California to the Sr. Director, HR and reports dotted line locally to the Director, Russia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires from employee set up in the HR system to labor contracts to benefits and maintain company documentation.
  • Manage new hire orientations.
  • Own the new hire integration and mentorship programs.
  • Own the new hire set up process from IT set up, laptop requests and other prior to first day.
  • Coordinate shipment of new hire welcome packages prior to onboarding.
  • Prepare HR reporting for headquarters.
  • Assists with employee engagement, retention, retention strategy and team building.
  • Assists with administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and requirements.
  • Coordinates distribution/communication of policies and projects including but not limited to Company Employee Handbook and various Benefit Programs.
  • Ownership of the recruiting process, source and screen candidates, work with external recruiters as needed.
  • Perform reference checks.
  • Manage phone screens and interview process.
  • Ensure that candidates understand and embrace our unique company culture.
  • Coordinate the offer approval process with headquarters.
  • Manage the termination process.
  • Manage the performance review and compensation review.
  • Audit Support.
  • Other ad hoc projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive HR background and technology recruitment skillset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or other related field.
  • 10 years experience working as a Human Resources generalist and recruiting experience working in a fast-paced technology company.
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams and a global organization.
  • Must exhibit discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters and documentation.
  • Good judgement and ability to make timely, sound decisions and embark on agreed upon course of action as well as good sense of humor and excellent problem solving skills.
  • Good communication and ability to work under high pressure.
