Eric Copeland

General Partner, Venrock

Eric Copeland joined Venrock in 1998 and has been a general partner since 2000. As an engineer, he has developed RF, microwave and millimeter-wave digital communications systems at pioneering companies, including Hewlett-Packard, E ON, Orbital Sciences Corporation and Aloha Networks. Copeland understands the technology, the market and the challenges that entrepreneurs face. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley and an M.B.A from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
