Software Engineer
Key Responsibilites:
- Contribute to the development of the Quantenna software and systems to maintain our superior performance and interoperability with all forms of third party WiFi clients.
- Design innovative new solutions to analyse and fix interoperability problems across a range of devices.
- Research and implement parts of the IEEE 802.11 and WFA standards as necessary for both customer driven and internally developed features.
- Co-work across different (AE/FAE/ASIC/Systems) teams to root cause and fix up complex system level and customer reported issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master in EE, CS, CE, or related disciplines with 5+ years’ experience in software development on Linux or embedded platforms
- Good verbal/written communication skills
- Some background in data communication protocols including TCP/IP
- Good C programming skills
- Experience of developing Linux or RTOS kernel modules
- Basic understanding of CPU architectures and optimization for speed/memory
- Big appetite for learning latest IEEE 802.11 protocols and principles of wireless communication
- Very good problem solving and diagnostics skills
- Highly motivated, with a strong desire to work on the cutting edge of 802.11 technologies and define the path forward in this technology.
