Senior Manager FP&A;

Job Specifications:

The FP&A; Manager will take an instrumental role in shaping the financial reporting and analytical processes for the Company. This position will have primary responsibility for creating, refining and managing business metrics for management and operational reporting. The FP&A; Manager will perform ongoing and ad-hoc analysis for the company and contribute to cross-functional operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of financial modeling and using analysis to support and influence decision-making. The candidate should be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, highly team-oriented, inquisitive, enjoy problem solving and results-oriented.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished professional with over 10 years in corporate finance focused on financial planning, analysis and reporting, cost accounting, and business partnering. S/he is most likely currently an FP&A; Manager of a high-technology multi-national company.

The successful candidate must be team oriented, hands-on and accessible. S/he enjoys being a part of, and working closely with, the leadership team as a trusted advisor with the ability to understand the "big picture" business context while not losing sight of the details.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong academic credentials, B.S. Accounting, Economics or Finance, and MBA (CPA a plus) from leading schools
  • 10+ years of growing responsibility in Finance in technology-based Multi-national Corporation. Semi-conductor experience a plus
  • Solid analytical skills; one who sees the big picture as well as the details; extensive financial modeling experience
  • Strong financial system skills and implementation experience (ability to mine, manipulate, analyze data using excel, access, SQL)
  • Experience in complex financial systems consolidation, transfer pricing, multi-currency
  • Ability to allocate time and resources efficiently, focusing on ever-shifting priorities
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting demands from multiple business clients in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; PowerPoint guru
  • Team player who is both confident and humble; respect for others, regardless of position
  • Thriving in a fast-pace and high growth culture; hands-on, pro-active, “roll-up-your-sleeves” style
  • Trustworthiness with the highest standard of personal and professional integrity and work ethics
  • Proven experience in ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite) and financial planning tools (e.g., Hyperion, Essbase, TM1 or Adaptive Planning)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups and macros
