Michael Hong
General Director of China Operations
Michael Hong brings 30 years of experience in marketing, sales, business development and operations for semiconductor and wireless solution companies. Before Quantenna, Michael was EVP & General Manager of wireless solutions' business unit of Arasor, where he grew revenue from $4M to $40M+ in 2 years. Prior to Arasor, he served as VP of operations for Telegent Systems and shipped over 100M+ units of mobile TV tuners in 2 years. Prior to Telegent, Michael served as VP of business development for Infineon Technologies, the world largest wireless semiconductor company, where he ran their China wireless sales and marketing operations. Prior to Infineon Technologies, Michael was COO for Morphics (now part of Infineon), a fabless semiconductor that developed 3G baseband processors. Previous to Morphics, he held executive positions at LSI Logic and ZSP (now part of VeriSilicon). Michael has also held key technical and management positions at OPTi and PMC-Sierra and served as a device physicist for VLSI technology and Fairchild.
Michael holds B.S. and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.
