John Quigley
Vice President of Engineering
John Quigley brings over 20 years of design, engineering and business management experience to Quantenna. Prior to joining Quantenna, as CEO and President of Ikanos Communications he raised operating cash and led a turn around that positioned Ikanos for both profitability and technology leadership.
Previous to Ikanos, Mr. Quigley was senior vice president and general manager of the Wireless Business Unit at SiRF Technology, where he defined, designed and launched the SiRFStar4 platform which brought SiRF back to industry leadership in GPS. As the VP of Engineering at Airgo Technologies he launched the industry's first three generations of commercial Wi-Fi MIMO products that led to Airgo's acquisition by Qualcomm in 2006. Prior to Airgo, Mr. Quigley was at Motorola for 13 years, evolving from a senior designer role in 1990 to the Global Director of Radio Product Design in 2003.
Mr. Quigley holds both Bachelor and Master degrees in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University. He has co-authored 10 patents, and has numerous publications and conference presentations in the fields of semiconductor devices, circuits and communication systems.
