Three Wireless And Telecom Industry Leaders Join Quantenna Communications Advisory Board

Sunnyvale, CA - September 4, 2007 - Quantenna Communications Inc., a fabless semiconductor company creating advanced, next-generation wireless chipsets, today announced the appointment of three leading wireless and telecom experts to its Advisory Board: Dr. Herbert May, former Member of the Managing Board of Deutsche Telekom; Dr. Niel Ransom, former World Wide CTO of Alcatel; and Dr. Tadao Saito, CTO of Toyota InfoTechnology Center.

Dr. May has had a distinguished career with senior management roles in major global technology companies, including Alcatel, Deutsche Telekom AG, DeTeSystems (now T-Systems), ACNielsen Germany and gate5. At Deutsche Telekom, Dr. May served on the Board of Management, where he was responsible for business customers, multimedia and systems solutions. Most recently, as Chairman of the Board, Dr. May played a major role in the sale of gate5 to Nokia. Dr. May also serves on the boards of InfoVista S.A., and Versant Corporation.

With over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Dr. Ransom held several executive roles at Alcatel, including managing access and metro optical business in North America, in addition to governing central functions as Chief Technology Officer. He joined Alcatel from BellSouth, where he directed the company’s expansion into PCS wireless, IP services, video entertainment and advanced intelligent networks. Dr. Ransom serves on the boards of AMCC, ECI Telecom, Teknovus, Overture Networks, and Ellacoya Networks.

Dr. Saito is currently a Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo, a professor at Chuo University and the Chief Scientist and CTO of Toyota InfoTechnology Center. He is the chairman of Ubiquitous Networking Forum of Japan, working on the vision for the future of the information society. He is also the chairman of Next Generation IP Network Promotion Forum of Japan. Previously, he served as Chairman of the Telecommunication Business Committee of the Japanese government’s Telecommunication Council.
