Sr. Software Application Engineer
Education:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other related field.
Experience:
- 3- 4 years of applicable work experience (5 – 7 years for senior position.)
- Willing to deal with customer and field issue.
- Strong problem-solving skill to isolate and resolve issue.
- Must have experience with C program.
- Experience with switch/router/gateway networking device development, preferred with WIFI (802.11)
application or driver development. - Experience with embedded Linux or Vxworks/eCos/Nuclear OS.
- Experience with ARM/MIPS or other architecture embedded platform.
- Familiarity with co-working with hardware engineer for system issue.
- Knowledge of networking protocols, preferred WIFI (802.11) knowledge.
- Experience with full software life cycle and delivery mechanisms.
- Good English reading / writing, preferred good speaking.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Write User Manual and Application Note for customer/FAE.
- Support customer to resolve issue for WIFI product line.
- Porting software/SDK for customer and develop customized application.
- Help product definition with field feedback
- International travel is required.
