Telefonica Introduces New O2 HomeBox 2 Based on Quantenna 4x4 802.11ac Wi-Fi Chipset to the German Market
New Home Gateway powered by award-winning QSR1000 brings ultra high Wi-Fi performance to Subscribers
Las Vegas, NV. – January 6, 2016 -- Telefónica Deutschland, one of Germany’s leading digital telecommunication providers, and Quantenna Communications, Inc. the leader in ultra high performance Wi-Fi, today announced the release of a new generation of O2 HomeBox 2 in Germany. The new device based on Quantenna 4x4 802.11ac Wave 2 QSR1000 chipset, offers superior speed, range, efficiency and reliability to the ever-increasing connected devices in the home network. Its MU-MIMO support will further contribute to the increase of wireless home network capacity.
