NETGEAR Chooses Quantenna 4x4 MIMO Chipsets for Its Next Generation of HD Video-over-Wi-Fi Products
Extends Partnership for Developing Video Bridges and Residential Gateway Products that Deliver Wireless Video Streams with Wire-Like Quality
FREMONT, Calif., July 12, 2011 -- Quantenna Communications, Inc., a leading developer of 802.11n silicon for streaming and distributing high-definition (HD) video throughout the home, today announced that NETGEAR® has again selected Quantenna's Full-11n™ 4x4 MIMO chipset for use in its latest wireless HD audio/video products. NETGEAR will develop next generation residential gateway and video bridge products based on Quantenna's QHS710 chipset to enhance their wireless video distribution capabilities.
