Quantenna Appoints New Chief Financial Officer
Seasoned Financial Executive Sean Sobers Joins Quantenna
Fremont, Calif., August 11, 2016 – Quantenna Communications, Inc., a leader in high performance Wi-Fi solutions, announced today that Sean Sobers has joined as Chief Financial Officer.
“We are excited to announce Sean as our new CFO,” said Dr. Sam Heidari, Chairman and CEO of Quantenna. “Sean brings a wealth of financial management expertise from decades of experience, working most recently for a multibillion dollar revenue electronic design automation company serving the global semiconductor market. Sean also brings many existing relationships in the institutional investor community and will be instrumental in bringing additional processes and discipline to Quantenna as we continue to scale our business.”
Prior to joining Quantenna, Mr. Sobers served as Corporate Vice President of Finance and Controller at Cadence Design Systems, Inc. Prior to Cadence, he was Vice President of Finance at Polycom, Inc., and Controller at the Software Group of EMC Corporation. Prior to its acquisition by EMC, Mr. Sobers was Corporate Controller at Documentum, scaling the company through an IPO, secondary offering and several acquisitions. He is an experienced financial executive having also worked at KPMG as an auditor. Sobers received his bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Southern California.
