Dr. Heidari joined Quantenna in 2009 as vice president of R&D where he led the company’s Wi-Fi technology innovation. Appointed chief executive officer in 2011, he drove the organization in developing the most advanced Wi-Fi hardware and software solutions to date – thereby enabling networking applications previously not thought possible. Prior to Quantenna, he served as chief technology officer and vice president of Engineering at Ikanos Communications Inc. As one of the original team members, Dr. Heidari then rejoined Ikanos in 2006 via the acquisition of Doradus Technologies Inc., where he had served as president and CEO. Under his management, Doradus grew from founding to profitability within 18 months. During his long career, Dr. Heidari has also held a variety of senior management and technical positions, within diverse sectors of the wireless and wireline communications and networking industries, at such firms as Sony Electronics, Linkabit Wireless Inc., and Torrey Communications Inc. Dr. Heidari is chairman of the board of directors for SiTune Corporation. He also serves on the Global Semiconductor Alliance Board of Directors and on the advisory board for the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California. Dr. Heidari is a senior member of IEEE and holds more than 40 U.S. and international patents. He has authored multiple refereed journals and conference papers and has provided significant contributions, covering wireline and mobile technologies, to the standard organizations IEEE and ITU-T. Dr. Heidari was named a winner of the 2014 CEO/Executive of the Year by the Golden Bridge Awards and earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from University of Southern California, and a bachelor’s degree in science from Northeastern University, all in Electrical Engineering.

During his 15-year entrepreneurial career in the high-tech industry, Fahri Diner repeatedly demonstrated his savvy in conceiving compelling value propositions and building high-tech organizations to successfully execute aggressive business plans. Having joined Sigma Partners in 2006, he applies this expertise by identifying strong entrepreneurs with good ideas, then funding and helping build market-leading companies. Diner’s entrepreneurial career in the communications industry spanned responsibilities in engineering, product management, marketing and executive management. He was the founder, president and CEO of Qtera Corporation, which he guided to become the leading provider of ultra-long-haul photonic networking solutions for the optical Internet. Nortel Networks acquired the company for $3.25 billion in stock, and Diner continued to lead Qtera as president of the wholly-owned subsidiary until 2001. Previously, he was a member of the executive team at Siemens, where he helped establish and manage the company's Optical Networks business unit in North America, which was later spun-off as Optisphere Networks. Prior to joining Siemens, Diner led Pirelli's pioneering activities in the optical amplifier and wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) markets, including the introduction of the first terrestrial WDM system and the first multi-channel, bi-directional optical amplifiers in North America. The optical systems division of Pirelli was later acquired by Cisco Systems for $2.15 billion. Just prior to joining Sigma, Diner founded Concept Ventures in 2005 by acquiring a portion of the assets of Applied Materials Ventures, where he served as managing director. A native of Cyprus, an island in the Mediterranean, Diner came to the United States in 1985 on full academic scholarship to the Florida Institute of Technology, where he earned his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. Fahri holds five patents in the field of fiber optics and optical communications.

Dr. Edward Frank is Co-Founder and CEO of Cloud Parity Inc., a mobile application company, since 2014. Prior to joining Cloud Parity, he served as Vice President of Macintosh Hardware Systems Engineering at Apple, since 2009. Prior to that, Dr. Frank was Corporate Vice President of Research and Development at Broadcom Corporation, where he played a key role in corporate business and IP strategy and was responsible for the company’s overall engineering execution in addition to co-founding and leading the engineering group for Broadcom's Wireless LAN business. Prior to joining Broadcom, Dr. Frank was the founding Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President at Epigram, Inc. (later acquired by Broadcom) and was a Co-Founder and Vice President of Engineering of NeTpower, Inc. Since 1996, Dr. Frank has served as a Technology Partner at Advanced Technology Ventures, a venture capital firm. Dr. Frank was also Distinguished Engineer at Sun Microsystems, Inc., where he co-architected several generations of Sun's SPARCstations and was a principal member of Sun's Green Project, which developed the precursor to the Java cross-platform, web programming language. Dr. Frank holds over 50 issued patents and serves on the Board of Directors at Analog Devices (NASDAQ: ADI) and eASIC Corporation. He is an advisor to several venture capital firms and startups in Silicon Valley and also serves as vice chairman of the Carnegie Mellon University Board of Trustees.

Ned Hooper is a Founding Partner of Centerview Capital Technology and currently serves as its Managing Partner. Ned brings over 20 years of operational and investment experience, leading growth technology businesses from the C-Suite and managing venture and growth capital investments. Prior to Centerview, Ned was Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Cisco. He drove the development of Cisco’s business vision and strategy to identify market transitions across customer segments and developed integrated strategies that leveraged all Cisco assets. As part of this role, he was responsible for business development activities including acquisitions, equity investments, and the incubation of innovative technologies. Ned currently serves on the Board of Directors of Quantenna Communications; zSpace, a start-up driving innovation in immersive, holographic platforms; and as a Trustee for the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia. Prior investments include Think Big Analytics (acquired by Teradata).

Mr. Hughes has more than 30 years of experience in the high technology industry. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and President at Rambus Inc. from January 2005 to June 2012. Mr. Hughes founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of Pandesic, a provider of web-based SAP systems, which was sold to SAP AG. He also founded and served as the Vice President of Intel Capital, Intel's venture investment operation. Mr. Hughes has held various board positions with major multi-national companies, including Cortina Systems, Pandesic Company, View, Inc., Cresta Technology Corporation, Berkeley Technology Ltd., Finisar Corp., and Rambus Inc. Mr. Hughes holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BA in Liberal Arts from the University of Wisconsin.

Mr. Jack Lazar is on the Board of Directors at Silicon Labs (NASDAQ: SLAB) and TubeMogul (NASDAQ: TUBE) and is an Accounting Advisory Board Member at Santa Clara University. From 2014 until March 2016, he served as Chief Financial Officer at GoPro, completing its 2014 IPO and growing revenue to over $1.6 billion. Prior to joining GoPro, Mr. Lazar was Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and General Manager at Qualcomm Atheros. From 2003 until the $3.6 billion acquisition of Atheros by Qualcomm in 2011, Mr. Lazar served in a variety of positions and most recently as Atheros' Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. During his tenure at Atheros, the company completed its IPO and grew to over $1 billion in revenue. Prior to joining Atheros, Mr. Lazar was Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of NetRatings, an Internet audience measurement and analysis company which went public in 1999 and was subsequently acquired by the Nielsen Company in 2007. Previous to that, Mr. Lazar was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Apptitude, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of network management solutions, which was acquired by Hifn, Inc. in 2000 and held various corporate positions at Electronics for Imaging.

John Scull is a co-founding Managing Director of Southern Cross Venture Partners, which has offices in Palo Alto and Sydney, and in Shanghai through a partnership with Softbank China Venture Capital. His investment focus is on software, infrastructure, and cleantech opportunities. Prior to becoming a venture capitalist, John had a successful 20-year operational career with leading edge technology companies in Silicon Valley. He has been the CEO of two successful venture backed software companies (Macromind, which merged to form Macromedia (MACR) and PF.Magic, which was successfully sold to The Learning Company). John was also an innovative marketing executive at Apple Computer, where he helped launch the Macintosh personal computer and then started and grew the company's Desktop Publishing business to over US$1B in revenues. John Scull holds an MBA from Harvard University and a Bachelor degree from the University of Oklahoma. He was born and raised in Indonesia and Singapore, and has a strong interest in the Asia Pacific region.

Mr. Mark Stevens is the Managing Partner of S-Cubed Capital. He is also a special limited partner and former managing partner at Sequoia Capital, a global venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, California. Mr. Stevens joined Sequoia in 1989 as an associate and later became a partner in 1993. Prior to joining Sequoia, he held a variety of sales positions at Intel Corporation. Mr. Stevens began his career as member of the technical staff at Hughes Aircraft Company. Mr Stevens serves on the Board of Directors of NVidia Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) and has been on the Board of Trustees at the University of Southern California (USC) since 2001 as Co-Chair of the Investment Committee and member of Finance and Executive Committees. Mr. Stevens is also a member of the USC Viterbi School of Engineering Board of Councilors and is the Founder and Chairman of the USC Stevens Center for Innovation. Additionally, he serves on the Advisory board of the Harvard Business School’s California Research Center (CRC). Mr. Stevens is a Trustee at Menlo School and serves on the Investment Committees for Santa Clara University and Sobrato Family Holdings. Since 2010, he has been a part time lecturer for a sales management course at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (GSB) and is an investor and executive board member of the Golden State Warriors.

President and Chief Executive Officer, Cadence Design Systems, Inc. Lip-Bu Tan is Founder and Chairman of Walden International. He also serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cadence Design Systems, Inc., and has been a member of the Cadence Board of Directors since 2004. He currently serves on the Boards of Ambarella Inc. (NASDAQ: AMBA), SINA (NASDAQ: SINA); Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp. (NYSE: SMI; HKSE: 981), and previously served on the Boards of Annapurna Labs (acquired by Amazon); Beceem Communications (acquired by Broadcom Corporation); Inphi Corporation (NYSE: IPHI); Flextronics International (NASDAQ: FLEX), and SolarEdge Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: SEDG). Lip-Bu received his B.S. from Nanyang University in Singapore, his M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his MBA from the University of San Francisco. Additionally, Lip-Bu serves on the Board of Trustees and the School of Engineering Dean’s Council at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU).
