DSP Firmware Engineer

Description:

    In the position of DSP firmware Engineer, the candidate will develop specifications for implementations of DSP algorithms in cooperation with algorithm developers from specification through fixed-point implementation, field support, prototype testing, etc. The task would include firmware development of complex signal processing, development, demonstration the system and definition of test plans and release to field.

Requirements:

  • Excellent background in Signal Processing theory and communications systems
  • Strong hands on C programming and real-time embedded Linux development
  • Experience in specifying and implementing fixed-point DSP algorithms
  • Hands on experience with DSP firmware development
  • Experience developing, executing prototype test plans procedure procedures
  • Knowledgeable of RF and analog architectures including RF front-end design, RF impairments and RF calibration preferred
  • Familiar with Lab activities including RF test equipment preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with scripting languages a plus
  • MSEE or BSEE in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience, smart entry-level or junior engineers will also be considered
