Principal Application Engineer - PCIe

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design, development and porting of PCIe drivers to customer platforms (embedded networking).
• Work directly with developers to bring up the PCIe interface on the chip.
• Work directly with hardware developers for design, qualification and documentation of the boards
• Debug software issues in WLAN drivers that interface over the PCIe interface
• Familiar with optimizing driver over PCIE and tradeoffs.   

Skills & Qualifications:

• PCIE expertise is required.
• Working knowledge with PCIe analyzers LecRoy/Tektronix/Agilent.
• Candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in software designing and supporting networking or wireless drivers
• Working knowledge of IO devices, UART and flash interfaces.
• Working knowledge of pipelining, various flow control methods and low power techniques.
• Strong written and oral communication skills. Good interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in EE or CS required. Masters preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience with at least 3-5 years in networking environments.
