Quality and Reliability Manager

Description:

This position is responsible for the product Quality and Reliability programs for the company from new product development and qualification through volume and sustaining production. This person will also implement and drive corporate Quality Management System (QMS) ongoing improvement, and establish document control system. Responsibilities include the qualification of new technologies, packages and products; support all environment compliance such as RoHS, REACH, WEEE, the definition of cradle to grave process and gates with the product development organization, and the management of supplier quality and reliability. In addition this person is responsible for establishing and managing a best in the class RMA and Failure analysis system which meets demanding customers’ requirements. This person will also have an essential role in understanding and satisfying demanding customer Q&R; requirements with ownership of customer deliverables and the customer quality support processes, while driving continuous product and system improvements

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years semiconductor industry experience in a technical discipline
  • 5+ years management of reliability and quality functions
  • Knowledge of advanced semiconductor process and package technologies
  • Experience with customer Q&R; requirements review and internal initiatives to meet requirements
  • In depth knowledge of reliability test methods and modeling for demanding markets
  • Knowledge of quality tools such as DFMEA, SPC, GR&R; with a strong statistics background
  • Quality management system knowledge and experience (ISO900 and beyond)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence internal and external organizations
  • Able and willing to operate ‘hands-on’
  • BS in a technical degree, MS preferred

In addition to the required skills, experience in the following areas would be applicable:

  • Experience in both emerging growth companies and larger organizations with best-in-class R&QA; practices
  • High speed mixed signal product experience
  • Supplier quality and reliability management, specifically in the fabless semiconductor model
  • Semiconductor failure analysis techniques
