Staff Software Engineer – Quality Assurance

Description:

  • Definition and execution of system testplans for Wireless networking products
  • Work with S/W teams to set up and manage a regression test environment
  • Document / implement Software & System QA, creation of diagnostics for silicon validation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of QA experience.
  • Able to create test plan and test cases independently and execute test plans thoroughly.
  • Strong debugging, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience with 802.11 products is a plus.
  • Bachelors degree or higher along with relevant work experience.
  • Hands-on testing knowledge and sufficient software skills to implement test harnesses and test automation.
  • Solid knowledge of scripting languages such as TCL, Python, or PERL.
  • WiFi Testing experience is a solid plus.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to work with development teams to understand issues/requirements.
  • Experience with programming tools for automation of processing and performance measurement tool/equipment in a laboratory setup is a solid plus.
